Job Description:
The Assistant Chief Maintenance Engineer is responsible for coordinating maintenance requests, tracking ongoing projects, updating and maintaining property details and organizing the Maintenance Department. This person will assist the Chief Maintenance Engineer to ensure the Maintenance Department runs as smoothly as possible.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Communicate with other departments regarding maintenance requests
- Create, organize and assign workorders
- Research parts and equipment for purchasing
- Assist in budget control
- In charge of schedules and timecard approvals for payroll
- Assists with other duties and projects assigned
Experience:
- Proficient with Outlook, Word and Excel
- Maintenance Knowledge (Preferred)
