Industrial Electrical Technician II - Pay Starting @ $26/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently interprets electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; identifies discrepancies and communicates issues per established procedures.
• Independently validates BOM accuracy and revision control, initiating corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
• Ensures correct material identification, traceability, and readiness to prevent production delays or errors.
• Independently executes complex layouts and escalates design or fitment concerns through appropriate channels.
• Establishes workmanship best practices, verifies compliance, and trains personnel on wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and labeling.
• Resolves complex routing challenges and defines routing standards to ensure reliability and serviceability.
• Independently completes terminations and inspects work for compliance.
• Oversees torque processes, resolves nonconformances, and supports internal and external audits.
• Defines wire management standards and ensures consistent application across builds.
• Independently performs standard soldering operations per IPC requirements.
• Conducts advanced diagnostics, evaluates test results, and ensures test process effectiveness.
• Performs standard functional electrical testing and documents results as required.
• Leads nonconformance investigations and supports corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensures data integrity and supports performance monitoring and audit requirements.
• Independently verifies ESD compliance and grounding per documented controls.
• Leads 5S initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Promotes a strong safety culture and supports hazard identification and mitigation.
• Ensures assemblies are protected to prevent damage and maintain conformity.
• Ensures document compliance and supports training and audits.
• Actively supports cross training to increase operational flexibility.
• Actively contributes to continuous improvement and error proofing initiatives.
• Safely works with live 120V electrical equipment within authorization limits and established safety controls.
• Supports live 480V work under guidance.
• Trains others on standard work processes.
• Communicates clearly across functions to support quality and delivery.
• Coordinates small work assignments with support from Team Leads.
• Applies operational processes (DMR, PCO, etc. independently and accurately.
• Demonstrates awareness of business and quality performance indicators.

Education:

• High School or GED
• OSHA 10-Hour Electrical Safety Certification
• NFPA 70E Certification – Electrical Safety Standards
