Job Details

Pay: $20.00 per hour + Mileage Reimbursement + Uniforms

Estimated Hours: This position pays a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, with up to 40 hours per week during the busier season. Candidates must have flexible availability to juggle multiple appointments daily and weekly, remaining agile as schedule changes are warranted.

Position Overview

Riggs Request, LLC, the Lake of the Ozarks’ premier Personal Home Management company, is hiring! We are seeking a part-time, detail-oriented, and reliable individual to provide high-quality cleaning and property preparation services for our discerning clientele.

This role focuses on upscale seasonal lake homes, requiring the highest standards of cleanliness and care. The position involves both meticulous interior cleaning and specialized exterior lake home preparation, making sure properties are pristine, welcoming, and fully prepared for owner use.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in training necessary to provide all services.
  • Complete tasks based on the schedule provided and work with management to schedule services accordingly.
  • Use authorized company tools, systems, and supplies to perform work as assigned.
  • Execute all other assigned duties.

Residential Interior Cleaning

  • Perform meticulous cleaning of all interior spaces, including high-end finishes and delicate surfaces.
  • Execute comprehensive sanitization and detailed dusting, including high-reach areas, baseboards, and intricate millwork.
  • Vacuum and mop various floor types (e.g., hardwood, marble, specialized tile).
  • Clean interior windows, mirrors, and glass to a streak-free standard.
  • Handle linens and detailed bed-making as needed.
  • Exercise discretion and extreme care when handling all client property and valuables.

Exterior Lake Home Preparation & Cleaning

  • High-Detail Deck and Dock Preparation: Thoroughly clean and prepare exterior multi-level decks, expansive patios, balconies, and docks.
  • Pest and Allergen Removal: Systematically remove and clean up spider webs, heavy pollen, leaves, and general debris from all exterior surfaces, railings, and furniture.
  • Outdoor Furniture & Amenities: Meticulously wipe down and arrange high-end patio furniture, cushions, and outdoor kitchen/bar areas.
  • Seasonal Readiness: Provide specialized seasonal services so properties are staged for immediate use upon client arrival.

  • Think proactively about the needs of the entire household.
  • Comfortable handling rigorous, deep-cleaning tasks both indoors and outdoors in various environments.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times, wearing provided attire.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of smartphones (iPhone/iOS preferred) and be comfortable using email and smart phone apps.
  • Ability to follow detailed, multi-step directions and coordinate multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Professional in all forms of communication, including email, phone calls, video calls, and texts.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to change activities frequently and manage multiple interruptions.
  • Highly responsive and reliable with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be comfortable working alone.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Bonus Skills and Experience (Not Required)

  • Experience in cleaning residential homes, boutique hotels, or a similar high-standard environment.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

There is frequent travel between worksites, and this person will need their own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Mileage between job sites is reimbursed at the company’s defined rate.

  • Ability to stand and walk unassisted for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and twisting without assistance.
  • Occasionally push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Reach overhead and below the waist.
  • Work outside in cold and hot weather.
  • Walk steep inclines and declines.
  • Work inside and outside of homes, including near water and on docks.
  • Use basic exterior cleaning tools.
  • Perform rigorous housekeeping duties.
