Praise Leader Opportunity Position Overview New Beginnings Church MO, in Camdenton, MO, is seeking a passionate and spiritually grounded Praise Leader to guide our congregation in meaningful, Christ-centered worship. This individual will lead music during services, help build the praise team, cultivate a heart of worship within the team, and lead people toward Jesus in worship. Responsibilities Lead worship during weekly services, rehearsals, and special events. Select music that aligns with sermon themes and church vision. Recruit, train, and shepherd worship team members (musicians and vocalists). Coordinate and lead weekly rehearsals. Collaborate with pastors and church leadership on service planning. Maintain a high standard of musical and spiritual excellence. Oversee worship set preparation (charts, arrangements, scheduling). Ensure proper use and care of church sound equipment. Qualifications A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a strong personal faith. Experience leading worship in a church or similar setting is preferred, but not required. Vocal and/or instrumental proficiency (guitar, piano, or other lead instrument preferred). Ability to lead and develop a team with humility and encouragement. Familiarity with all types of praise music including modern/contemporary. Preferred Qualifications Experience with sound systems and worship technology (e.g., Planning Center, ProPresenter). Ability to arrange or adapt music for a band setting. Previous leadership or ministry experience. Expectations Be dependable, prepared, and spiritually engaged. Participate in church life beyond Sunday services. Maintain a servant-hearted attitude. Compensation This is a bi-vocational position with a pay range of 100-300/week. Compensation will be based on experience and ability.
