Evers & Company, CPA’s, L.L.C. is looking for a full time Accountant for our Osage Beach office. Benefits include an excellent compensation program, medical insurance, life insurance, cafeteria plan and a 401(k) retirement plan.  

Job Description:

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, such as entering and paying bills, receiving payments and preparing deposits
• Prepare and process direct deposit payrolls
• Prepare and process payroll returns and payroll tax payments
• Assemble workpapers for tax return preparation
• Prepare various types of tax returns
• Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting questions

This job may require longer hours during tax season. This job requires strong communication skills to effectively assist clients, strong organizational skills, and good problem-solving skills. You will also need strong computer skills to work with various softwares for tax and accounting. Proficiency with using Quickbooks and Quickbooks Online is preferred.
