Scheduler/ Office Assistant 1 & 2 Job Description
The Office Assistant Scheduling position will be highly organized, possess excellent time management skills, and thrive in a team-based environment. This position reports directly to the Swift Leadership. This position is great for someone looking to supplement their lifestyle. Early retirees or someone with moderate levels of computer literacy are encouraged to apply. This position is currently seasonal but has the potential to grow and expand as the company is experiencing a high level of growth and will continue to do so. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides a high level of support to the Scheduling Teams.
- Answer phone calls, texts, and emails.
- Utilize Google Docs & Voice.
- Monitor and maintain worklogs for accuracy.
- Identify areas with limited resources and coordinate job postings for hiring.
- Identify, assign, and dispatch instructors to classes.
- Perform data entry checks and balances.
- Follow and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with the Manager to ensure scheduling functions are satisfactory.
- Work independently on projects as directed.
- Collaborate with internal and external personnel for the purpose of scheduling classes.
- Opportunities to conduct and teach CPR courses. (optional)
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Clerical or administrative assistance experience (Preferred).
- Moderate computer knowledge (Mandatory).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong team player.
- Proficient time management skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Reporting skills and understanding of travel logistics.
- Ability to apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills when conflicts arise.
- Ability to work remotely in the event of inclement weather, including:
- High-speed internet access.
- Dual monitors.
Pay Range:
Part Time 15-25 hrs a week
Starts at $15.00 hourly based on experience
