This full-time non-exempt position assists with planning and coordinating functions and services related to the State Fair Community College Nursing Program at the extended campus location. The Administrative Assistant provides guidance to potential and current students, assists students in identifying resources, and assists with administrative support for the Nursing programs. This position will be based at the extended campus location.
The Administrative Assistant shall:

The preceding duties have been provided as examples of the essential types of work performed by positions within this job classification. Management reserves the right to add, modify, change or rescind work assignments as needed.
Associate degree in Office Administration or related area, preferred, but not required.
Shall possess strong computer skills and can proficiently operate office equipment such as scanner, fax, copier, and telephone. Can manage Excel spreadsheets and input data. Occasional need to lift objects (up to 10 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. Shall have one year or more experience in related field, preferred, but not required.
