Job Description:
The AM Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch items in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work well under pressure. The AM Line Cook will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety guidelines, and assisting with inventory and ordering as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items according to recipes and customer orders
- Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and is of high quality
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of food and equipment
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations
- Assist with inventory and ordering as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
