Position Overview
Lake of the Ozarks’ Personal Home Management company is hiring! We are seeking a part-time detail-oriented and reliable individual to provide high-quality cleaning and property preparation services for our discerning clientele. This role focuses on upscale seasonal lake homes, requiring the highest standards of cleanliness and care. The position involves both meticulous interior cleaning and specialized exterior lake home preparation, making sure properties are pristine, welcoming, and fully prepared for owner use.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in training necessary to provide all services
- Complete tasks based on the schedule provided and work with management, to schedule services accordingly
- Use authorized company tools, systems & supplies to perform work as assigned
- All other assigned duties
Residential Interior Cleaning
- Perform meticulous cleaning of all interior spaces, including high-end finishes and delicate surfaces
- Duties include comprehensive sanitization, detailed dusting (including high-reach areas, baseboards, and intricate millwork), vacuuming, and mopping of various floor types (i.e., hardwood, marble, specialized tile, etc.)
- Cleaning windows (interior), mirrors, and glass to a streak-free standard
- Handling linens and detailed bed-making as needed
- Exercising discretion and extreme care when handling all client property and valuables
Exterior Lake Home Preparation & Cleaning
- High-Detail Deck and Dock Preparation: Thoroughly clean and prepare exterior multi-level decks, expansive patios, balconies and docks
- Pest and Allergen Removal: Systematically remove and clean up spider webs, heavy pollen, leaves, and general debris from all exterior surfaces, railings and furniture
- Outdoor Furniture & Amenities: Meticulously wipe down and arrange high-end patio furniture, cushions, and outdoor kitchen/bar areas
- Seasonal Readiness: Provide specialized seasonal services so properties are staged for immediate use upon client arrival
Qualifications & Skills
- Exercise confidentiality with all Homeowner information with unwavering commitment to the highest quality standards.
- Genuinely care for Homeowners and their family
- Able to stand and walk unassisted
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including bending, lifting up to 40 lbs, kneeling, and standing for extended periods, often outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience or comfort working near water/docks and using basic exterior cleaning tools
- Think proactively about the needs of the entire household
- Cannot be afraid to get dirty
- Always maintain a professional appearance, wearing provided
- Must have a strong working knowledge of an iPhone, use email and smart phone apps
- Follow detailed, multi-step directions
- Coordinate multiple requests simultaneously
- Be agile as changes to schedule are warranted
- Juggle multiple appointments daily and weekly
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be comfortable working alone
- Professional in all forms of communication such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and manage with multiple interruptions
- Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Highly responsive and reliable with a strong attention to detail
Bonus Skills and Experience
- Experience in cleaning residential homes, boutique hotels, or a similar high-standard environment (not required)
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- There is frequent travel between worksites, and this person will need their own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Work outside in cold and hot weather
- Walk steep inclines / declines
- Work inside homes and outside of homes – including on docks
- Housekeeping duties
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
- Reach overhead and below the waist
- Occasionally push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist without assistance
