Commercial/Residential Mower

This position is responsible for Mowing daily operations and or maintenance when needed. Must have experience Mowing at the lake and on steep hills. Some qualities you must posses are punctuality, good work ethic, ability to work in varying weather conditions, lift 60lbs repetitively, strong organization skills, ability to complete appropriate paperwork, and possess good communication skills. You also must have a good drivers license. We are looking for someone to provide quality service that meets or exceeds our customers’ and management’s expectations. This is a drug free workplace so smoking and or drugs are not allowed on company premises or on our customers properties.

Daily Tasks

⦁ Daily preparation of trucks and equipment

⦁ Report on time at regular start time to prepare/review the daily work load.

⦁ Load all tools, gas, and other necessary equipment/materials. Secure all equipment safely.

⦁ Check truck oil, fluids, tire pressure, proper trailer connection, and all lights are in working condition.

⦁ Perform and manage landscape and maintenance tasks on client’s properties.

⦁ Work in conjunction with the Crew Lead to ensure the work contracted is implemented efficiently and according to the contracted specifications.

⦁ Provide labor associated with the maintenance of all lawns & garden beds, including cleanouts.

⦁ Perform all tasks of operations including but not limited to mowing, trimming, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, hedging, raking, building walls, and mulch installation.

⦁ Wash dirty equipment and return to storage location. Report damaged or broken equipment to your manager immediately to get parts on order.

⦁ Fill truck, mowers, equipment, and cans with gas in preparation for the next day (or as necessary).

⦁ Ability to lift 60 lbs + consistently throughout the day.

⦁ Available to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays) in all adverse weather conditions.

⦁ Stoop, stand and bend for 10 hours or more a day.

Job Type: Full-time/Part time

Salary: $16 /hour depending on experience
