Deputy Juvenile Officer
An employee in this position is vested with the statutory authority of a juvenile court officer and is primarily responsible for taking charge of youth who come within the jurisdiction of the juvenile court in the 26th Judicial Circuit, Camdenton Missouri. An employee in this position works closely with children, families, law enforcement agencies, schools, social service agencies and members of the community, and is responsible for preparing reports and summaries for presentation in juvenile court hearings, and works with a high degree of independence. Applicants must possess a Bachelors Degree with a major in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field and have two years of experience as a JO I or equivalent. Applicants must also live within the 26th Judicial Circuit Starting salary is $46,621.92 per year plus all State of Missouri benefits
