The Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bar is seeking a qualified General Manager to lead our team of hospitality professionals. The Encore is one of the most dynamic dining & entertainment venues at Lake of the Ozarks. The ideal candidate will have a strong restaurant management background, strong work ethics, and a passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality standards.
- Manage staff recruitment, training and foster a motivated team.
- Manage scheduling and payroll efficiency.
- Implement and manage strong inventory controls.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash management and financial transactions accurately.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Increase business profitability.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create an innovative menu.
- Maintain all facilities in a clean, safe and professional atmosphere.
- Work with large groups, banquets & conventions as needed.
- Assist in coordination of various entertainment artists & bands.

Skills
- Ten years proven experience in restaurant management.
- Strong technology and point of sales skills.
- Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food production and kitchen operations.
- Excellent cash handling skills with a focus on accuracy and accountability.
- Strong bar management skills, and floor management skills.
- Ability to lead a diverse team while fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong experience in bartending and serving is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and staff.
