Hiring Department position for Swift Safety Institute in Osage Beach, MO
The Hiring Department is responsible for posting job openings for instructors and contractors, conducting interviews with potential candidates, pre-screening office assistant applicants, and processing newly hired instructors and contractors. This position reports directly to the Office Manager.
Key Job Duties:
- Adhere to daily itineraries and staff portal guidelines.
- Manage and post open positions for 1099 Instructor Contractors and prospective Swift office employees.
- Schedule and manage interviews for 1099 Instructor Contractors.
- Maintain confidential records and worksheets for hiring
- Interview 1099 Instructor Contractors.
- vet them using resumes,google search, references, social media platforms
- Pre-screen potential Swift employees.
- Follow up with 1099 Instructor Contractor applicants who do not initially respond.
- Enter all instructor information into the following databases:
- Homebase
- Enrollware
- Red Cross Learning Center
- Google Maps
- Google Contacts
- ICs Sheet
- Recent Background checks
- Maintain accurate records for 1099 Instructor Contractors, including personal, demographic, and certification details.
- Collaborate with the scheduling department to resolve map-related issues.
- Ensure the validity of 1099 Instructor Contractor certifications.
- Monitor and respond to incoming calls and texts via Google Voice.
- Respond promptly to all incoming emails.
- Execute the termination process for 1099 Instructor Contractors when necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Manage social media posts and engagement.
- Identify new recruitment strategies for contractors across various platforms.
- Assist with other assigned projects, including research.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous hiring experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Docs and other computer programs.
- Ability to work remotely during inclement weather, requiring:
- High-speed internet
- Dual monitors
Salary Range:
$15.00 – $16.00 hourly
