Now hiring a mobile work crew job coach to work with up to 4 adults with disabilities M-F 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.   Job coach will serve as a liaison between LAI and the partnering business making sure expectations are met by training crew members to complete their daily duties.  Will sets a professional example through their actions, attendance, and hygiene.  

Duties:

  • Train new and existing crew members to efficiently perform their job functions by using methods learned in training.
  • Perform quality checks against Job Specifications as required and record findings.
  • Log service documentation as required including crew member name, date, location, hours worked
  • Perform monthly evaluation for each crew member with the help of the program manager.
  • Provide employees encouragement, moral support, direction.
  • Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
  • Drive to and from offsite location in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Follow policies and procedures as established by LAI operating procedures and employee handbook.

Reporting to this Position:

Up to 4 Mobile work crew members

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required.  First Aid/CPR/AED certification required but provided by LAI.  Valid Drivers license and Chauffeurs license required.  Prior experience with people with disabilities is helpful.  Supervision experience is preferred.  Background check free from violence or theft required.

The physical demands described here are representative of those met by employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, and hear.  The employee is required to sit and stand.  The employee is occasionally required to use hands, fingers, arms, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move loads of up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this include close vision, peripheral vision, and an ability to adjust focus.  Color vision is preferable but not required.

$16.00/hr. plus benefits
