Responsibilities:
– Assist the chef in cooking on a flat-top, char broiler or fryer.
– Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
– Chop, slice, and dice vegetables and meats.
– Cook Burgers, chicken, steak and seafood according to customer request.
– Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
– Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
Experience:
– Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred but not required
– Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
