Position: Low Voltage Audio/Video and Security Technician

About the Role:
Are you a skilled and experienced Low Voltage Audio/Video and Security Technician who enjoys working hands-on in the field? As part of our dynamic team, you’ll take pride in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting smart home technologies and audio/video systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients daily.
- Install, maintain, and repair security systems, cameras, and audio/video equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with low voltage systems and components.
- Perform on-site repairs, ensuring systems function at optimal performance.
- Conduct field service visits to address maintenance and repair needs.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in person.
- Collaborate with the technical sales team to identify opportunities for upselling or recommending additional products/services.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts usage.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines on all job sites.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of smart home equipment, low voltage electrical systems, and related components.
- Proficiency with tools, construction methods, and test equipment for installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience in field service and customer support roles.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
