At DCL boat service we specialize in on-dock boat service, maintenance, and repairs.
We are looking for someone who wants to learn to work on boats while getting paid.
The job requires you to help us carry our tools and supplies down to the boats we work on. You will be able to get in and work on Mercruiser and Volvo Penta sterndrives, and Mercury, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Johnson Evinrude outboards. We also work on Yamaha, Kawasaki, and SeaDoo jet skis.
Starting out, you will be going on all of the jobs with an experienced technician, watching, and getting some hands on experience. You will learn how to change oil, do tune ups, change water pumps, and winterize / dewinterize. You will also learn how to diagnose and repair run-problems using both old school methods and computer diagnostics.
We typically work afternoons and evenings from around noon through 6-8 pm.
