About the Role: Provide positive interaction between Spa guests. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing professional massage therapy treatments to our guests. Maintain cleanliness and stock amenities. Excellent organizational skills required.

About the Role: Provide positive interaction between Spa guests. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing professional massage therapy treatments to our guests. Maintain cleanliness and stock amenities. Excellent organizational skills required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Open to learning the spas signature Swedish massage protocol.
2. Evaluate clients: Analyze guests’ physical conditions and health history to determine appropriate massage techniques.
3. Client Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their individualized massage therapy plans to meet clients’ specific needs and goals.
4. Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and other modalities as needed.
5. Use massage oils, lotions and creams as necessary. 
6. Sanitation and Sterilization: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by sanitizing and sterilizing equipment and treatment areas. 
7. Recommend and sell products to clients, providing education on proper product use and benefits.
8. Work with other massage therapists, spa staff, and management to achieve spa goals and maintain a positive work environment. 

SKILLS, ABILITIES, REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to stand for the entire shift. Use hands, wrists, and arms to perform massage techniques.
2. Capable of lifting and directing guests, as needed.
3. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. 
4. Pleasant disposition and professional appearance to positively represent the Spa.
5. Good verbal, written, and telephone communication skills; proficient in cash handling and appointment scheduling; ability to multitask.
6. Hepatitis A vaccination required. 

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow established cash handling procedures for monetary transactions (cash banks, checks, cash, credit cards, etc.) as outlined in the Company Policies and Procedures Manual. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Current Missouri Massage Therapy License
