Music Leader Opportunity
Position Overview- New Beginnings Church MO, in Camdenton, MO, is seeking a passionate and spiritually mature Praise Leader to lead music during our Sunday morning service. This individual will lead music during service, and lead people toward Jesus in worship.
Responsibilities- Lead music during weekly service, rehearsals as needed, and occasionally special events. Select music that aligns with sermon themes and church vision. Recruit, train, and shepherd praise team members (musicians and vocalists). Coordinate and lead weekly rehearsals as needed. Maintain a high standard of musical and spiritual excellence. Ensure proper use and care of church sound equipment.
Qualifications- A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a strong personal faith. Vocal and instrumental proficiency (guitar, piano, or other lead instrument preferred). Familiarity with all types of praise music (modern and older).
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with sound systems and worship technology (e.g., Planning Center, ProPresenter, etc). Ability to arrange or adapt music for a band setting. Previous leadership or ministry experience. Ability to lead and build a praise team.
Expectations- Be dependable, prepared, and spiritually engaged. Participate in church life outside of Sunday services when possible. Maintain a servant-hearted attitude.
