WFO Watersports located by land right off of Business 54 near Walmart or at the 17.5 mm in Backwater Jack’s cove, is looking to round out the season by hiring a part time seasonal office/dockhand employee starting immediately. The best candidate will possess good communication skills talking with customers in person and on phone, booking rentals over the phone and conducting sales at the check in window, preparing the boat list for the next day, and other duties as assigned. Possessing computer skills; Word, Excel etc is a plus. The booking software is not hard to learn, but good spelling and grammar is a must. More administrative duties could be assigned given the right candidate. The office is air conditioned but other duties require being outside with dock prep, cleaning and preparing boats for launch and return, fueling boats, etc and will require standing, walking, stooping, and lifting up to 30-40 lbs.
Job requirements through Labor Day include working on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and possibly Tuesday 8 am up to 6:30 – 7 pm (once last boat is in) Work days after Labor Day will be discussed as business will slow down, but we won’t close. Daily hours will be shortened and we will go to a modified schedule. Contact for an on site interview.
Must be at least 18. Hour pay plus tips. Paid lunch break, score free work shirts and join us on our monthly employee boat to dinner excursions.
