Janine’s Flowers is looking for a reliable, creative, and hardworking Part-Time Floral Designer / Delivery Driver to join our team!
Position Overview
This position is a combination of floral design, flower shop support, and delivery driving. The ideal candidate enjoys working with flowers, has an eye for design, provides excellent customer service, and is comfortable driving for local deliveries and events.
Responsibilities

Create fresh flower arrangements, bouquets, and other floral designs

Assist with daily flower shop operations and keeping the design area clean and organized

Process and prepare customer orders

Prepare flowers and arrangements for deliveries, weddings, events, and special occasions

Safely and professionally deliver flowers to homes, businesses, venues, and event locations

Load and unload floral deliveries and supplies
-
Provide friendly, professional customer service to customers and delivery recipients
-
Assist with receiving, processing, and caring for fresh flowers
-
Help with setup and cleanup for weddings and special events as needed

Answer phones and assist customers when needed
-
Perform other general flower shop duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Previous floral design experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person

Creative with an eye for color, texture, and design

Reliable, punctual, and dependable

Friendly and comfortable working with customers

Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-
Comfortable driving a delivery vehicle
-
Able to lift and carry floral arrangements, buckets, and supplies
-
Flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays during busy seasons
Schedule
Part-time — flexible hours based on shop and delivery needs.
Additional hours may be available during holidays, weddings, and special events.
