TowBoat U.S. Lake of the Ozarks is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Captain to join our team for the boating season. As a TowBoatU.S. Captain, you will assist boaters in need by providing towing and on-water support services. This is a hands on customer focused role ideal for someone who enjoys being on the water and helping others. Responsibilities are to safely operate company vessels to assist disabled or stranded boaters, provide towing and basic on-water assistance, communicate professionally with customers and the dispatch team as well as maintaining a high level of safety and situational awareness. To qualify you must have a valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License (OUPV or higher), a towing endorsement, be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, have strong boating knowledge and seamanship skills, good communication and customer service and the availability to work flexible part-time hours including weekends and holidays. We offer on the job training for towing and service procedures, flexible scheduling, opportunity to work on the water at Lake of the Ozarks, and a supportive team environment.
