We are seeking a skilled and experienced Small Engine & Two-Stroke Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining two-stroke and four-stroke small engines. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to ensure all equipment is repaired efficiently and correctly.
✅ Diagnose and repair two-stroke and four-stroke engines, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and blowers.
✅ Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, carburetor cleaning, and spark plug replacements.
✅ Troubleshoot and repair fuel system, ignition, and electrical issues.
✅ Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild small engine components as needed.
✅ Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
✅ Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and accurately.
✅ Communicate with customers regarding repairs, costs, and maintenance recommendations.
✅ Stay up to date with new small engine technologies and manufacturer service bulletins.
🔹 Experience working with two-stroke and four-stroke engines.
🔹 Knowledge of fuel systems, ignition systems, and mechanical components.
🔹 Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose engine issues efficiently.
🔹 Experience using mechanic tools and diagnostic equipment.
🔹 Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
🔹 Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
🔹 Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
🔹 Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
✅ Small Engine Repair Certification (e.g., EETC, Briggs & Stratton, STIHL, Kohler, Honda, or Husqvarna).
✅ Experience working in a dealership or repair shop setting.
✅ Familiarity with carburetor tuning, EFI systems, and advanced diagnostics.
